<p>The machine rool (14) has a copying mechanism which incorporates a self-rotating pattern unit synchronously driven with a spindle (2) carrying the workpiece (6) to be machined. The pattern, through its rotation, controls the relative position between the spindle (2) and the machining tool in relation to the clearance between them. Either a tool retaining holder (10) or a spindle (2) retaining holder (3) is swivelably located on the machine frame (1) in such a way that a swivel movement is executed around an axis (4) which is normal to the spindle axis, and meets it at the spindle end. The position changes of the machine component (3) swivelably connected to the machine frame (1) are effected by means of a cam (19) which rotates synchronously with the spindle (2).</p> |
