Hook for rope sling - has rope passage axis concave towards end opposite hook tip

The sling hook has a passage through it through which a rope passes. The axis of this passage (4) is concave toward the end opposite to the hook tip (6). The section of the passage can be constant. The design ensures that the hook does not slide on the sling when this is straight. The hook is slidable on the sling rope to engage an end loop when round loads are being lifted.
