<p>A pallet formed from aluminium extrusions comprises parallel rectangular section stringer tubes (12) whose upper, and, if desired to form a double deck, lower surfaces have sets of three vertical extensions (20, 22 24) which fit into openings double channel section deck members. The channels of each deck member are connected by a web (42) which has slots fitting over the central extensions (20) of the stringer tubes ater an inwards turned lip on one channel has been fitted under extensions (22) and the deck mamber pivoted onto the stringer tubes. The other channel has an inwards turned lip clipping under the remaining extensions (24) to hold the deck member on the stringers.</p> |
