Dry deodorant/antiperspirant aerosol compsns. contain 0.5-15% by wt. powdered astringent antiperspirant, pref. a basic aluminium chloride, esp. Al2(OH)5Cl. 2H2O in amt. 1-6%, 0.3-1.6% nonvolatile liq. vehicle soluble in propellant, 0.1-3% finely divided hydrophobic clay, pref. chemically modified bentonite or, esp. montmorillonite or hectorite, as suspending agent, and liquefied propellant gas. Pref. liq. vehicle is isopropyl palmitate in amt. 0.5-1.5%. Pref. wetting agent and bactericide are included. |
