1466164 Looms; stopping automatically SULZER BROS Ltd 19 April 1974 [10 Aug 1973] 17268/74 Heading. D1E A stop motion automatically stops the loom in a position of the main shaft when the heald frames are moving relatively slowly, e.g. open shed, the loom is then restarted and automatically stopped at a position effective to remedy a fault, e.g. closed shed. A solenoid 80 operated by a stop motion is operated when a follower 95 is running on a portion 108a of a cam 91 so that a lift 108c causes the loom to stop at the open shed position. The loom is then restarted either manually or automatically and runs until a second lift 108c stops the loom at closed shed position before it has regained full running speed.
|
