The crash helmet has a supple strap (5), resistant to being cut and fixed to the side of the helmet. The strap forms a loop to which an antitheif device can be attached so that the helmet can be attached to the vehicle when not in use. The strap is fixed by at least one of its extremeties to the helmet by rivets (6). Each extremity can be fixed to the outside of the helmet or the strap can be folded and both extremities fixed by a single rivet, one on the outside and one between the padding and the inside of the helmet.
