发明名称 Cathodic protection of ballast tanks in moored tanker ships - using vertical rows of sacrificial anodes joined by hooks
摘要
Cathodic protection device uses sacrificial anodes in the ballast tank of a moored tanker ship. A suspension plate is used, built into the tank cleaning hole or manhole and fitted with a spacer rod. On the bottom end of the spacer rod is a vertical row of anodes, each fitted with a core bar provided with connector hooks at boths ends; and several spacer rods can be employed to support several vertical rows of anodes. Each of the connector hooks is pref. fitted with a safety clip, whereas the spacer rod is pref. bent at both ends to form a loop. Used on tankers which are laid up for long periods to protect the ballast tanks from corrosion by seawater. Device is simple and inexpensive and can be assembled to any desired length.
