Monorail inclined conveyor track brake - with automatic stopping brake, downhill deceleration brake and drive shaft safety brake

The monorail conveyor track is esp. for good transport on steep slopes e.g. between hillside fruit gardens and a valley depot, with a motor driven towing vehicle and attached trailers. The towing vehicle (1) has a drive unit connected by transmission to a drive wheel (16) engaging the rail. One brake, connected to the transmission serves to stop the machine, and a second brake is for limiting its speed when running downhill. There is also a safety brake connected to a drive shaft (25). A brake activating mechanism (6) is automatically released at a prescribed stopped place. The second brake may be operated by centrifugal force.
