Electropneumatic transducer with magnetic valves - has branched air pipe extending from single compressor

The electropneumatic transducer comprises a housing with a branched air pipe, with a magnetic valve for each branch pipe controlled by a separate electrical switch, and a compressor which is common to all the switches and from which the branched air pipe extends. Common to all the branch pipes is a manometric switch which responds at a given pressure, for interrupting current supply to the compressor. The electrical wires between the magnetic valves and associated switches, and the output of a relay which controls the compressor, are connected via diodes to the input of the relay in such a way that flow of current is possible only in a direction towards the input of the relay. The transducer combines flexible electrical control with universal pneumatic control.
