<p>Tyre comprises an oval shaped with a narrow contact tread section for improved penetration to the road surface in snowy conditions, or adhesion to ice. On both sides of the narrow tread section, with constant spacing between them, are fins for providing extra grip in conditions of thick ice and for acting as a wind brake for braking on ice. The fins provide improved centralisation of the tyre and reliably maintain the direction of driving of the vehicle while the cavities in between them aid braking.</p> |
