<p>A double take off unit, for use with a double loom, has two vessels to take each fabric layer, with reciprocating arms moving the length of the folded fabric width to place each fabric in pleated layers in each vessel. The arms are secured to a trolley which moves in the horizontal plane, the arms being immovable at least in a horizontal direction. The design ensures that each fabric layer developed by the loom are smoothly and consistently laid in equal folding pleats in each of the holding vessels.</p> |
