摘要 <p>The switching circuit is used for igniting a gas mixture by a battery powered fire lighter. High voltage pulses are generated from the low voltage direct current battery. Compact and economical transformers can be used which have high efficiency. The direct current is converted into alternating currents. This is fed to the primary winding (4) of a transformer (5). The secondary winding (6) of this transformer (5) is connected by a rectifier to a high voltage capacitor (8) which is connected in parallel to the spark gap (10). Between the secondary winding of the transformer and the high voltage capacitor (8) is arranged a capacitive voltage multiplier. An electronic chopping circuit is used for converting battery voltage into alternating current.</p>
