<p>The hydraulic lifting device has a single acting cylinder which drives a lift shaft connected to two lifting arms. A stop piece is manually operated and locks the lifting shaft in position. The stop piece is in the form of a pivot mounted bolt on the tractor chassis. A hydraulic control device has a positioning action and adjustable floating position for interrupting the flow of press. fluid to the cylinder.
