<p>Adhesively bound book block is made from a number of layers of contents sheets with the layers consisting of two or more sheets folded into each other. The sheets of one layer (1) are exclusively held together by an adhesive central coating (8) positioned between them and located within the area of its fold (7). The width of the adhesive central layer, when in the open-out position, is about 0.1 to 0.2 mm and this central layer extends unbroken over the whole height of the block. The adhesive central layer may be made up from a row of adhesive application points or lines.</p> |
