Regeneration of gastric mucous membranes - by admin. of pantothenic, desoxy-ribonucleic, and beta-glycyrrhetinic acids

Medicaments to regenerate the gastric mucous membranes contain pantothenic acid (I) together with desoxyribonucleic acid (II) and beta-glycyrrhetinic acid (III). The presence of (II) and (III) increases the known activity of (I). Typically compsns. contain 60 wt. % (I), 30 wt. % (II) and 10 wt.% (III) 200 mg. of the combination being given 3 times daily. The daily admin. to rats to 120mg. (I) 60mg. (II) and 20mg. (III) per kg. for 90 days was without toxic symptoms. The pref. wt. ratio of (Ied(II):(III) is 60:30:10. The daily dosage of such a combination is 3x200mg.
