<p>Multi-core cable having water-tight, die-cast connector is designed to be precisely arranged within the die-cast part or section along with the connector and to be pull-or stress-relieved in a simple manner suitable for use in automobile brake-linings wear indicators. The insulating die-cast section has a number of slotted holes arranged acorss the part embracing the cable, such that, in each case, two holes are arranged to lie opposite one another and make contact at their bases with the cable approx. centrally on opposite lying sides of the die-cast section. The spacing between the bases of associated slotted hole pairs is, at least in the immediate vicinity of the connector pin(s) a d earth connection less than the nominal dia. of the cable. The spaced slotted holes along the length of the cable are displaced in the die-cast section or part of, at an angle of = 90 deg. relative to one another.</p> |
