<p>The gearwheel is partic. for the gearbox of an electrically-driven tool. It comprises a hub (1) and one or more gear rings (2) of metal, joined together by insulating material (3), so that they cannot slide or turn in relation to each other. The outside of the hub and the inside of the ring can be splined in the lengthwise direction and the insulating material can extend beyond one or both end faces of the gear ring, having teeth where those of the ring are. The hub length can be at least that of the overall length of ring and insulating teeth. The profile can be larger than that of the ring teeth.</p> |
