The axle (3) pivots in relation to the chassis on a central bearing point (2). Hydraulic cylinders (4) fixed to the chassis are connected to a hydraulic circuit containing a regulator slide (11) which controls the movement of plunger bearing on the swinging axle to move the chassis from a working position to a driving position. The regulator slide contains a piston which is subjected to compressed air pressure via a switch over valve (7) to change from one working condition to a second. The fluid volume differences from the levelling cylinders (4) is accommodated by a pressure chamber and returned to the hydraulic system.
