<p>Composite panels comprise a rigid core, pref. cellular polystyrene, covered with a composite fabric made from a mixt. of synthetic and natural fibres of which >=1 is nonflammable or difficult to ignite. The natural, more flammable fibres are pref. of jute or sisal. The panels are used for lining walls, ceilings, etc., and have a combination of high strength, resistance to penetration and ignition, good sound absorbence and ease of installation.</p> |
