<p>The drilling and screwing machine is particularly for fitting hinge plates, and pegs etc. joinery. It has a pivoting assembly with a plate equipped with a drill head on one side and a screwing head on the other and an electric motor to drive them. The rod of a ram supports the plate, and retainers are provided on the front of the ase for holding the workpiece in place. These retainers comprise a slewing table and a height adjustable table, and the machine has a box-section base enclosing the ram, whose vertical rod passes through a hole in the top. The tables on the base are so arranged that the slewing one, rotating on the base, accommodates the other which slides on it. The sliding table carries joinery locking rams, nolding it at the desired height and angle.</p> |
