Separate lids (6 and 4) for the front and the rear part (2.6 and 2.4, respectively) of the rubbish container completely expose its discharge opening in the open position. The front lid (6) is designed as a hinged sliding lid. Its spindle (7) is carried by pivot arms (8), with the aid of which it can be displaced to the rear edge of the container opening while the lid (6) itself, weighing heavily on the edge of the container opening, is dragged along behind. At the rear edge of the container opening, the rear lid (4) and the front lid (6) can be hinged open behind the rear wall of the container. <IMAGE>
