1440355 Up-and-over doors; doors TUBAUTO 19 Oct 1973 [20 Oct 1972 17 May 1973] 48940/73 Headings E1J and E2M In an up-and-over door comprising a rigid panel 1 retained and guided by rollers 2 which move in vertical U-shaped guidance members 3 having unequally long branches 13, 14 located on each side of the door opening, the rollers are positioned in the lower portion of the panel which is supported by two levers 5 articulated at one end of each lever to the upper part of the door opening and at the other end of each lever to the central portions of the sides of the panel 1. The unequally long branches 13, 14 of the U- shaped guidance members 3 are provided with facing ribs 16, 17 which are adapted to be engaged by truncated cone-shaped surfaces 15 on the rollers 2. To assist in assembling the up-and-over door unit, positioning members 4 are adapted to be detachably secured to the panel 1 and U-shaped vertical guidance members 3. After fixing they door frame, stud bolt means 25 is removed and the half spacers 18, 18' making up the positioning member 4 fall by gravity to free the panel 1 from its attachment to the guidance members to render the door ready for use. |
