<p>1521719 Spray carburetter control NISSAN MOTOR CO Ltd 24 Dec 1975 [24 Dec 1974] 52832/75 Heading F1H The flow of fuel from a float chamber 104 to an induction passage venturi 102 is controlled by regulating the air-pressure in the chamber. The chamber 104 may be sealed apart from the fuel inlet and outlet and the air-pressure in the chamber varied by a diaphragm 108 vibrated or positioned in accordance with an electric signal. The signal is fed to the coil 120 associated with a magnet 122 and either the coil or magnet is fixed to the diaphragm. The signal may alternatively or additionally control an electromagnetic valve 130 controlling the opening of a chamber vent to atmosphere. The signal may be provided by an electronic control system, Fig. 2 (not shown), including an adder (200) receiving signals from sensors of exhaust gas oxygen content, engine speed, intake vacuum, throttle valve position and engine coolant temperature.</p> |
