<p>The weed removing machine has two discs which are pivot mounted to the front end of a main frame (1) and (2) diverge downwards and forwards. An angled frame (3) is mounted at the back of the main frame, flexible beaters (17, 4) being fixed to the edges of the angled frame. A roller (5) is pivot mounted to the rear of the main frame and consists of two lateral plates (18) which are joined together by a number of curved rods (6). The roller crushes and chops up the weeds, leaving them to dry up and disintegrate on the ground to become compost.</p> |
