Rotating milling cutter for shoulder milling - has indexable tool tips with positive axial and negative radial rake angles

The rotating cutter is used esp. for shoulder milling. The cutter body has indexable tool tips on its circumference. Each tool tip is a parallelogram plate with inclined cutting edges which consist of primary and secondary cutting edges. The cutter is capable of cutting 90 deg. corners with positive axial rake angle and negative radial rake angle. The cutting insert (10) is orientated tangentially to the cutter head (28). The main cutting edge is at right angles with the rotating plane of the milling cutter. The insert is simultaneously set at negative radial rake angle and positive axial rake angle.
