Shaft resilient claw type coupling - has lugs separated by resilient blocks connected at axial ends by webs

The resilient shaft coupling has two flanges (3, 4) each having an annular array of axial lugs (5', 6'). Any one lug flange is situated between two lugs of the other flange. Any two adjacent lugs of the respective flanges are separated by a rubber block (7'). The rubber blocks are united at the radially inner by an integral ring. The blocks are joined in pairs by integral webs (9') which lie at one axial end of the blocks so that the lugs of the relevant flange can engage between the other ends of the blocks. The webs reinforce the connection between the blocks.
