摘要

TAGED - COOL-BURNING GUN PROPELLANTS A family of gun propellants formulated with triaminoguanidine ethylenedinitramine (TAGED), as an oxidizer, to reduce the isochoric flame tempeature while providing high mass impetus. The invention overcomes the problem of gun barrel warping by providing 20 to 30 percent lower isochoric flame temperatures then those of conventional military propellants, while yeilding comparable or higher mass impetus.
