A window hinge comprises two components having respective cylindrical body members 211, 231, the member 231 being provided with two spring-loaded movement inhibiting stops 261 and 262 (not shown) adapted to interengage with the member 211 and the latter having a manually operable release device 271 for the stops. The stops are cylindrical plungers mounted in offset bores in the member 231 and engageable selectively in a bore 271a in the member 211 to lock the hinge in two alternative positions. The device 271 is slidable in the bore 271a and may be depressed to push either plunger out of the bore thereby releasing the hinge. |
