The stacking conveyor for corrugated cardboard blanks has a ramp down which the blanks (18) travel towards a staking point where a stack is formed then conveyed sideways to a discharge platform. At the stacking point a stop (50) is lowered to form the stack. Preceding this stopp is a belt conveyor (14) which is supported by a plate so as to form a sloping surface (14A). The final part (14B) of this surface is at an angle (A) of between 5 and 15 deg., preferably 10 deg., to the platform(32) forming the stacking point. The part (14C) preceding this is curved for a short distance, then the remainder (14D) continues horizontally and level to the other end of the conveyor. |
