<p>An ionisation chamber fire detector has the printed circuit plate located in a chamber that is magnetically and electrically isolated from the detector chambers. The detector together with the printed circuit plate (76) are mounted in a cylindrical housing (29) manufactured in an insulating material. The measuring chamber (14) is positioned at the top with the reference chamber (16) directly beneath. Electrodes (32, 28) separate the chambers. The printed circuit plate is isolated (26) and has connecting pins (277) to the socket (12) that is mounted on a wall ect.
