PURPOSE:To automatically provide line densities corresponding to printing periods and eliminate the need for checking operation of response time by reading out video signals from a video memory device and performing recording at the printing period corresponding to the assignment of the main scanning speed. CONSTITUTION:At the time of copying the image having been stored in the memory device RAM 12 of a CRT display device 1 with a recorder 2, a scanning density setting device 3 is provided and the processing time of one picture element, i.e., printint period has beforehand been set and stored in the read-only-memory ROM 33 thereof and the printing magnification corresponding to line density in the ROM 34, respectively in correspondence to the main scanning speed. This, if the scanning speed is assigned with a keyboard 31, the respectively corresponding printing period and printing magnification are read out from the ROMs 33, 34. The pulse of the corresponding printing period is made to the period pulse and with the frequency divided pulse multiplied with the period and magnification as an address shift pulse, the video signal is read out from the RAM 12 and recording is performed in an ink jet printer 2 at the printing period corresponding to the assignment. In this way, recording may be performed automatically by calculating the period and magnification. |
