<p>PURPOSE:To make the system compact by changing over respective control circuits according to the quantities of inertia of a feed reel and takeup reel. CONSTITUTION:An inertia detection circuit 19 detects the quantity of inertial of a feed reel by the tape speed v1 and the rotating speed omega1 obtained from detectors 3, 7. An inertia detection circuit 20 detects the quantity of inertia of a takeup reel from omega2=v2r2 as the tape speed v2 and reel rotating speed omega2 are detected by detectors 4, 8 when the takeup reel 2 is rotated by a motor 16. The inertia detection circuit 9, 10 select changeover circuits 23, 24 according to the quantites of inertia having been obtained, changing over reel control circuits 25, 26 so as to respectively use these. In the reel control circuits, the quantities of inertia at the previous revolutions of the reels have beforehand stored in load storage circuits 21, 22 and are read out from the load storage circuits 21, 22 and are utilized at the time of starting.</p> |
