<p>The egg boiler is for boiling soft- or hard-boiled eggs without their shells cracking and the contents being released into the boiling water. A small hole is made in the egg-shell so that the inner recess of the egg is connected to the outside atmosphere. The perforating tool (3) is cylindrical, cylindrical-conical or conical, with a dia. between 0.2 and 0.8 mm. A rigid base (1) has a spherical recess (2) in it at the bottom of which is the perforator. Manual pressure presses the egg against the perforator.</p> |
