PURPOSE:To make possible the centering, insertion, and takeout of roll and boss to be easily operated in short time, by installing a hole in the boss of the roll rearranging device, so as to be fittable to either roll journal or boss when it is inserted. CONSTITUTION:When the roll journal 2a is to be inserted into the boss 17, the boss 17 is lifted by the arm through the main cylinder and turnbuckle and inclines by an angle alpha degree. The inner diameter of the boss 17 has large loosseness in upper half of the inlet side and in lower half of the deep side, so that the vertically movable distance of the boss 17 against horizontal line becomes 2g, that is the inner diameter of the boss 17 becomes equivalent to d + 2g when it is inserted. Besides, in the roll journal 2a being inserted into the boss 17 and being held at overhung condition, the weight W of the roll is supported by the portion B and the portion T taking the pin 13 as the fulcrum. Accordingly, even if the upper half of inlet side and lower half of deep side relieve, the overhung condition is stably maintained. |
