PURPOSE:To improve waveform by absorbing third and fifth higher harmonic wave as well as improve power factor by connecting in star form the capacitor in which reactor is connected in series to each three phase and by connecting a series reactor between neutral point and neutral phase. CONSTITUTION:The series reactor 3 is connected between the neutral point of the capacitor 2b connected in a star form and the neutral phase. In this way, the fifth higher harmonic wave in the three-phase 4-wire circuit can be absorbed, and also the third higher harmonic wave can be absorbed by setting up the value of the series reactor 3 so that voltage phase and N phase constitute single phase circuit and the series reactor 1b and synthetic impedance become 13 % of condenser capacity, for example, thus permitting the great improvement of waveform. |
