PURPOSE:To improve filtration (or filtering) properties of filtering fluid by controlling strength of magnetic field in such a manner as to glue extremely small and alim piece of magnetic substance on a vesicant body dispersedly to form a magnetic reaction layer. CONSTITUTION:Fluid passages 3 located in a vesicant body 1 are brought penetratively up to the surface of the vesicant body 1. Inner surface of vesicular pores 7 located in the vesicant body 1 and outer surface of the passage 3 are provided with plating 8 on their entire circumferences. The surface of the vesicant body 1 is provided with a joining layer 4 containing magnetic fine particles. When a fluid to be filtered is passing through the passage 3 located in the vesicant body 1, by means of action of magnetic fine pieces 2 evenly dispersed into the porous body from the surrounding wall covered by the plating 8 and also by action of magnetic field applied from outside, pollutants are adsorbed on the plating 8 and removed. As the filter is thus cleaned, it is readily possible to control the filter by changing its filtering properties. |
