The enclosed conveyance for transferring passengers or luggage into/out of aircraft is based on a design with bellows at top and sides of the transfer opening, for reducing the gap between conveyance and fuselage. Two horizontal beams run from a vertical pivot on the conveyance centreline to the free-end bottom corners of the bellows. Overlapping horizontal plates edged by ring-segment guide-rails extend from the beams into the conveyance. Pivot and pivoted assemblies are supported and guides from a trolley on lengthwise rails under the conveyance floor. Jacks rotates the assemblies to reduce the floor gap.
