CLAMPING DEVICE FOR VIBRATING MIXER MECHANISM OF AGITATORS PARTICULARLY FOR MIXING PIPETTES

A holder for mixing containers on a vibration mixer, wherein the mixing containers are pref. mixing pipettes having two axial support elements of which one is conically expanded near the mixing container, comprises >=2 holding plates on the oscillating plate, having pear shaped orifices, whose long axes are inclined to the direction of the oscillations. The smallest radius of curvature of the orifices lies nearest to the oscillating plate. The holding elements for one container are so arranged that the cylindrical support elements of the mixing container heat an angle in the orifices. Used for mixing of e.g. blood samples in microanalysis for determin. of e.g. leucocytes and erythrocytes. Auxillary pipettes can be inserted while the mixer is in operation. Device is easy to handle and reliable.
