Intermittent control for windscreen wiper - has relay linked to self-park switch to initiate timing cycles

The intermittent drive for the windscreen wiper has a transistorised circuit with a holding relay for the wiper motor and a self parking switch. The time period is determined by a capacitor which is charged during the dead period and which controlled independent to the wipe period of the motor. The system provides a set time interval no matter how fast the wipers sweep over the windscreen. The next dead period is determined solely by the control circuit and not by the position of the self parking switch.
