摘要 <p>Temp-resistant composite material, esp. for gas-turbine blades, uses a superalloy matrix based on Ni contg. Co and Al, esp. as a ppte. of Ni3Al and with mono-crystalline carbide fibres, i.e. whiskers as a reinforcing phase obtd. in situ by directional solidification during mfr. of the composite material. The matrix also contains tungsten and the whiskers consist of niobium carbide. The matl. pref. contains by wt. 7-10% W and 4-6% Nb and one pref. compsn. by wt. is 20-30% Co, 6-15% Cr, 7-10% W, 3-6% Al 4-6%Nb, 0.4-0.65% C with a balance of Ni. The materials is intended for aeronautical gas turbines and has an improved performance w.r.t. cyclic changes in temp. and stress.</p>
