PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of the selective permeability and the continuity of performance over through the long hours power supply, at the anion exchange membrane for selectively permitting the anion of small charge to permeate, to be prepared by the electrodialysis method, by permitting the coexistence of the substance containing the cation exchange radical whose HLB and molecular weight are specified within a range. CONSTITUTION:The substance containing the cationic radical of HLB 4-17 and molecular weight 600-10000 (sulfonated polyethylene, for instance) is added to the electrolytic solution for instance, and is adhered on the anion exchange membrane through the electrodialysis; hereby, the anion exchange membrane superior in the selective permeability for the monovalent anion is prepared. In thus prepared anion exchange membrane, the one prepared by the electrodialysis of the 0.5N selt solution by the current density 2A/dm<2> with the current efficiency above 70% is used practically. |
