PURPOSE:To prevent drawing impossibility and abnormal abrasion of the continuous casting piece, by moving the centering plate which is equipped with a displacement meter at its end, on the inside surface of the mold, making it contact the support roll and the side roll. CONSTITUTION:When the centering plate 8 is moved, making it contact the support roll 8, the displacement meter 9 which is mounted at the end of the centering plate 8 is also moved of the bottom face in the mold, rolling with the roller 10. In case the bottom face in the mold is inclined to the roll contacting plane, displacement depending on the moving amount of the centering plate 8 is displayed in the displacement indicator 12 through a lead wire from the displacement meter body 9. Parallel of the roll contacting face and the mold is secured by making adjustment in moving either of the lower supporting stands 13, 14 of the furnace body 1 to upward or downward, as mentioned hereinabove. |
