<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the assembly and prevent the twisted eccentricity otherwise cuased at the moment of operation by means of a reaction member adapted to align to be engaged with a valve member in the piston. CONSTITUTION:A reaction member 8 is provided slidably in a hole 7 of a piston 6 which is charged with a compression spring 22 sliding through a cylinder hole 3 and a cylinder 4 ofthe cylinder body 2 in the master cylinder. Thus, a hydraulic pressure generator 10 is formed. At the same time, the rear end of the reaction member 8 is made so spherical as shown by 18 to align to be engaged with a spherical seat of a valve member 61. With such an arrangement, the rear ends of the piston 6 and the reaction member 8 respectively get in contact with a contact with a contact plate 78 on the mobile wall 51 of a toggle joint 41 and the valve member 61. This makes it possible to mount the toggle joint 41 to a master cylinder 1 once after the separate assembly of the two units. Thus, the mounting procedure can be made easier. In addition, the reaction member 8 can automatically aligns the valve member 61 in the connection center thereby preventing the tilting of the mobile wall 51. Accordingly, it is possible to check the development of twisting and the maltifunctioning.</p> |
