Prefabricated panels of resin bonded particulate board incorporate an internal layer of sheet load. The panels can be assembled using angular or grooved pillars which also incorporate >=1 layer of lead, usually in orthogonally intersecting or overlapping layers. For ease of use in arranging partitions or screens for enclosing equipment emitting X-rays, e.g. for hospital radiography.
