A herbicidal combination comprising (1) a 2-sulfonyl pyridine N-oxide of the formula <CHEM> and (2) a 4-amino -6-tertiary butyl-3-(methyl thio) 1,2, 4-triazin-5 (4H) one having the structural formula <CHEM> The combination is effective against grasses and broadleaf weeds such as jimsonweed and morningglory.
