<p>PURPOSE:To provide a multieffect tower or tank and reduce installation area, equipment cost, and the like by partitioning the interior of the tower or tank with pliable film(s). CONSTITUTION:The interior of a tower or tank 1 is partitioned by one or plural pliable films 2 made of synthetic rubber, natural rubber, synthetic fiber fabric- reinforced rubber, or the like. The thus formed multieffect tower or tank is used, e.g., as the absorption liquid chamber and absorption waste liquid chamber of an exhaust smoke desulfurizer at initial stage. The tower or tank leads to a reduced installation area, reduced equipment cost for piping or the like, and lower monetary investment.</p> |
