<p>PURPOSE:To secure sufficient precision at arithmetic operation without extending calculation time by a method wherein the average deformation resistance and compression function of the steel plate are calculated based on specified formulas. CONSTITUTION:The average deformation resistance km of steel plate is obtained from formula (1), its flat roll radius R' from the quadratic polynomial of the reciprocal of the thickness of the plate, and its compression function Qp from the cubic polynomial of the logarithm of its compression ratio, where its coefficients are obtained in the matrix expressions shown by formula 2 or formula 3. The temperature T is estimated by measuring the surface temperature of the steel plate and using the temperature model of the subsequent cooling process. By this, the rolling load P is estimated by lnP=lnkm+lnW+lnld+lnQp. Here, epsilon represents distortion, epsilon' distortion speed, K0-K3, Kc, aij, a'ij constants, Q0-Q3, Q0'-Q3' coefficients, H feeding side plate thickness, and k discharge side plate thickness. By this, it is possible to estimate the rolling load with sufficient precision without prolonging the calculation time in the control of the calculator of the rolling machine.</p> |
