For the oxydizing colouration of the hair is used, as a coupling compound, at least one (1)-(ss-hydroxy-alkyl)-(2,4)-diamino-benzen of the general formula: (FORMULA) wherein R is a hydrogen atom, a methyl or ethyl group, and also the mineral or organic form thereof. Such preparations contains the coupling compound with a concentration from 0.01 to 4.0% approximately by weight and in admixture with the usual compounds allowing the development of the colouration and optionnally the usual coupling compounds. When mixed with the compounds allowing the development of the colouration, say the (1,4)-(diamino-benzene) and its derivatives, the said (1)-(ss-hydroxy-alkyle)-(2,4)-(diamino-benzene) allow to obtain relatively cold shades, of a deep blue without mixture of red. Furthermore, it is possible to obtain natural ash grey shades, as well as dark shades, particularly dark blue shades. |
