PURPOSE:To prevent the discharge of gas and obtain an electronic device of a diode, etc. with high discharge starting voltage by a method wherein air pressure in a glass tube for sealing circuit elements is heightened. CONSTITUTION:In a double heat sink diode, a chip 3 is held between end surfaces at the larger diameter portion 2 sides of a pair of slag leads 1 in metal while the larger diameter portions 2 are sealed with glass by using a glass tube 4. A silver bump electrode 5 is attached to the chip 3. The portions 2 are sealed with glass in a vessel such as a bell jar of three atm., and the inside of the glass tube 4 is made the air pressure of three atm. Thus, an electronic device with high discharge starting voltage can be obtained because the discharge starting voltage is raised as seen in a graph shown when the air pressure in the glass tube is increased. |
