PURPOSE:To obviate a memory phenomenon, oblique flying, a recording error, etc. altogether to enable a highly dense and high quality picture to be recorded, by applying dot sequentially scanned signals to recording electrodes and a signal corresponding to a record picture to controlling electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic ink 3 on a plurality of needle-like electrodes 1 facing a recording surface is bulged by magnetic force of a magnet 2 placed adjacent to tips of the electrodes 1 and will be flowed by Coulomb's force, wherein every Nth electrode is electrically connected orderly and to M electrodes adjacent to said electrode are provided to one controlling electrode 4 to correspond thereto. The recording electrodes 1 are applied with not sequentially scanned signals which sequentially select every recording electrode 1, while the recording electrodes 4 are applied with a signal corresponding to a picture to be recorded. |
